Pre-ban Siam Ruby.
Very scarce.
I'll quote the appraisal in case you cannot read it via the picture;
"Lady's Ruby and Diamond ring. The 18k white gold die-struck ring is designed in a unique by-pass style. The ring centers a pear-shaped ruby encirclrled by 9 rubies and six accent diamonds. The center ruby is a beautiful pear-cut gem weighing .70 ct. This rich deep Siam red gem that matches closely the accent gems. The deep cut and beauty of this gem causes it to stand out. There are six accent diamonds together weighing .18 ct. These are collection quality gems. The nine round cut rubies are fine Thai rubies together weighing approx. .16 ct. The design and quality gems combine to make an exquisite piece."

The Appraisal for this ring is dated in 1984 and it is the original copy for this amazing ring.
Back then it had a replacement value of $1800.
In todays (2011) money, according to Dollartimes.com, that would be almost $3900.
I am asking considerably less but I will hold firm at the price you see. It's very well worth it. A stunning ring creation in every way.
Shipping is $25 in the continental USA via Regestered Mail and will be fully insured. Please convo for rates elsewhere.
Thank you for your interest.
